Hebrews 10:38–39 (ESV)

but my righteous one shall live by faith, and if he shrinks back, my soul has no pleasure in him. But we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who have faith and preserve their souls.

Hebrews 11:1–3 (ESV)

Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. ² For by it the people of old received their commendation. ³ By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible.

The PRINCIPLE of Faith (verse 1):

Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.

Am I really trusting God or am I still trying to run my own life?

The PRACTICE of Faith (verse 2):

For by it the people of old received their commendation.

What am I trusting God to do that only He Can?

The PERCEPTION of Faith (verse 3):

By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible.

Do I see the world through the lens of faith?
