myCircle is a web-based online information management system that we are excited to roll out to regular attenders at Circle Drive Church. Our goal is to provide our staff, lay leaders and church attenders the ability to:

We also want to provide to all of our regular attenders tools that will ease the collective administrative burden of keeping this information current. This guide is designed to help you do just that.

How to Register/Log In

The website can be accessed from the home page at www.cdacfamily.ca via the myCircle link in the top menu bar.Or you can go straight to myCircle by typing the direct address into your web browser www.cdacfamily.ca/mycircle

Clicking on this will take you to a secure website address.

If you have an account already just enter your email or username and password and go on in.

When you enter myCircle for the first time, you need to set up your online login account. Click the Click here and enter your email address and name. Each adult in a household should create their own login account.

After entering your information click on the “Find Me” button. Shortly after you will receive an E-mail with your user name and password. Enter the user name and password  you got in the email into the myCirlce login page and click the “Sign In” button.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Your First Name, Last Name and e-mail address MUST match with our database or you will not be given an account.  If you do not have an e-mail address on file, then you will need to e-mail this information to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

4 Things to Do After You Login 

1. Update your information

You can manage your personal information, such as your address and phone number. When you are changing your information, the changes are not directly applied to the records, but you are submitting a request to change information. After the request is approved by a Circle Drive Church administrator the information will be updated on the website.

To view or update your information, in the "I Want to View..." section, click on the "My Complete Profile" link.

ProfilePage

Your primary address, phone number and E-mail address are displayed on the top of the page along with the members of your family. The Serving and Groups tabs let you see other activities you are involved in.

To update your information,

  • click the “Pencil”-link on the top right of the section, next to the section name.
  • Enter changes to your personal information directly in the form
  • click the “Submit” button in the top right corner.

When in edit mode, you can click on an existing address to change it. This will open a form with the address information. After entering the correct information click on the “Submit” button in the lower right corner. To add an additional address click on the link “Add Address” and enter all required information into the form followed by clicking the “Submit” button.

>When in the edit mode, you can click on an existing phone number, E-Mail address, or other fields such as Date Baptized or Wedding Anniversary, to change it. After entering the correct information click on the “Submit” button in the lower right corner.

Remember to click the “Submit” button at the top right corner of the personal information page, to submit your request to make changes to your information.

2. Set your personal privacy preferences

You can choose to have your information displayed in the online directory.  To do so click on the “Home” tab in the top navigation bar and select the link “My Personal Preferences”. Select the appropriate boxes (see screenshot above) to make information available to other users and click the “Save” button on the lower right.

3. Register for Events online

You can access the available events by clicking the "Available Upcoming Events" link in the "I Want to View..." section on the first page of your myCircle.

Registration is performed by clicking More Info and following the specific registration processes.  We currently accept MasterCard and VISA as well as offline payments.

4. Check your giving record

myCircle allows you to know exactly what you've given. To check on your giving:

  • log into myCircle
  • Under the "I Want to View..." heading click on My Giving History

Giving activity is updated each business day. If you make a donation, but don't see it here in your Giving History after 2 business days, please contact Deseree in the Finance Office, or call her at 373-5445.

 

4 a. Make a one time donation

  • click on "Giving" in the top menu bar
  • Choose either "Local Ministries: Tithing" or "Imagine"
  • Enter the amount you want to donate.
  • Click the "Add" button on the right
  • Click the "Give" button
  • Enter your credit card information
  • Click the "Submit Payment" button at the bottom

4 b. Make a recurring donation

  • click on "Giving" in the top menu bar
  • Choose either "Local Ministries: Tithing" or "Imagine"
  • Enter the amount you want to donate.
    • Click the check box under "Recurring"
    • Decide how often you want to have the payment taken out under "Schedule Frequency"
    • Choose when you want the payments to end. Choose either a specific date or how many payments
  • Click the "Add" button on the right
  • Click the "Give" button
  • Enter your credit card information
  • Click the "Submit Payment" button at the bottom

How Recurring Donations Work

The first donation in the series will happen as soon as your credit card is approved. The contributions after the first one will be taken out according to the scheduled frequency. Frequency occurs relative to the first payment date. You can manage the schedule for recurring gifts in the "Scheduled Giving" section of Giving.

 

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is my user name and password?

A: Your user name is usually your email address or your first name plus your last name, with NO spaces. i.e. MickeyMouse, not Mickey Mouse.  It is not case sensitive. Your password is e-mailed to you directly when you register online. Your password is case sensitive. That means that "MyPassword2" is not the same as "mYpassWord2".

However, if you do forget what your username and/or password are, they can be sent to you by clicking the links below the Sign In button.

Q: How secure is my data?

A: The confidentiality of your data is our utmost priority. Our software provider is ACS Technologies, the largest developer of church management software in the industry.  They have a secure website housed in a secured data center and is subject to daily security audits to ensure safety and privacy of your data.

Q: I just made a change to my information but it's not changed?

A: When you are changing your information, the changes are not directly applied to the records, but you are submitting a request to change information. After the request is approved by a Circle Drive Church administrator the information will be updated on the website.

Q: I just made a donation in my Circle and it's not showing up?

A: This is similar to changing your information. The giving record doesn't appear on myCircle until it has been applied to your account by the finance office at Circle Drive Church. Once that is completed the website is updated. If you make a donation and still don't see it appear in your myCircle giving records after 2 business days, please contact Deseree in the Finance Office, or call her at 373-5445.
